Q 1. When and how do I get to know the date and venue for the Personality Assessment Round (Group Discussion and Personal Interview)?
Ans. : The location for the Personality Assessment Round will be selected by the applicant during the M-JPAT application process. Students will have to choose three locations for the GD-PI venue as per their preference. The exact venue and the dates  will be communicated to the applicants in their ADMIT CARD.

Ans. : The dates and the exact venue will be communicated to the students in their ADMIT CARD.

Q 3. Can I reschedule my GD-PI location and date?
Ans. : Yes, you can reschedule the location for the Personality Assessment Round. The applicants can login to the Student Zone and edit the GD/PI location fields. The last date for any such change will be the last date for the form submission.  The Personality Assessment Round will be conducted at 65 locations in India and select cities in neighbouring countries as mentioned in the test locations tab on the website

The date for Personality Assessment Round at each of the locations is fixed and will be communicated in the Admit Card .

Q 4. If I have missed the written test, can I appear for the Personality Assessment Round?
Ans. : No, a student who has missed the written test cannot appear for the Personality Assessment Round.

Q 5. What are the areas that will be tested in the Personality Assessment Round?
Ans. : The Personality Assessment Round will primarily comprise of group discussion and personal interview.

The Group Discussion round will be used to check the ability of the student to perform in groups and get his / her view point heard in a group and, most importantly, check for the spontaneity and logicality of thought.

The Personal Interview round will consist of two sections :

The HR round will be a test of communication skills, thinking ability, clarity of goals and personal disposition.

The Academic/Technical round will be a test of subject knowledge and knowledge of the work place. It will also test the candidate’s ability to apply their learnt skills.


Each interview session will be of a approximately 20 minutes duration.

The group discussion will be of approximately 15 minutes duration and each group will consist of a maximum of 12 students.

The interviews will be conducted by panels nominated by M -JPAT. They will consist of academicians, industry experts and leading MBA college  alumni.

The student will be checked for the following facets of personality :

(B) CONFIDENCE

  Knowledge

General - Business/Economy and Current Affairs.

Immediate - Family and Education.

Academics - Theory and its real life application.

Other Interests-Hobbies, Extra-curricular activities.

Leadership Qualities.

Desire to pursue goals that are likely to help a large number of people.

  Self-Awareness / Personal Estimation

  Action-Orientation / Pro-Activity

  Communication

Expression and Articulation.

Listening Skills.

PERSONALITY ASSESSMENT ROUND IS NOT AN ELIMINATION ROUND.

Q 6. What will be the duration of the Personality Assessment Round?
Ans. : The duration for the Group Discussion will be of approximately 15 minutes and 20 minutes for Personal Interview.

Q 7. How do I get to know the score of the Personality Assessment Round?
Ans. : The combined score will be made available containing the score of the Written Test, the performance in Personality Assessment Round, past academic performances, work experience and statement of purpose and other details filled in the application form.  The detailed score sheet will be available on the website for print.

Q 8. Is Personality Assessment Round an elimination round?
Ans. : No, the Personality Assessment Round is not an elimination round. Students who have applied successfully with M-JPAT and have a valid written test score are eligible for the Personality Assessment Round and the Final Selection and Admission process.
