Q 1. What are the features of M-JPAT?
Ans. : The M-JPAT features are as follows:

One Admission Application Form (M-JPAT Form)  costing Rs 1900/-¥ is required to apply to  all the associated MBA colleges.

The process seeks to relieve students from the burden of filling up multiple individual college Application Forms and also minimizes the associated expenditure.

All AICTE approved written test scores are accepted.

Students with valid written test scores of CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA or GMAT / GRE are eligible to participate in the M-JPAT process.

M-JPAT is a unified second round process.

The second phase of testing for all students who have taken the written test is done through Group Discussions and Personal Interviews. Students registering for M-JPAT process need to appear for just one combined GD and PI session as a part of the selection process for securing admission to any one of the associated MBA Colleges. The second round admission process is conducted at 65locations across India and select cities in neighbouring countries.

The Associated  MBA colleges finally select screened applicants from the M-JPAT process based on their specific criteria.

One stage Final Selection Process.

The Personality Assessment Round is followed by the Final Selection and Admission Process to various programs of the associated MBA colleges. It is a one stage-online process. The admission process is completed within 15 days of the offer being made by an MBA college.

One Common Admission Process.

Students are allotted colleges based on the calls obtained from various colleges, their M-JPAT Rank, their  preferences and availability of seats.

¥ The M-JPAT Student Application Form is priced at Rs 1900/- for Indian Students and Rs 3000/- (approx US $ 50)  for International Students (Indian Currency).

Q.2. What are the M-JPAT Highlights?
Ans. : The M-JPAT Highlights are as follows:

One MBA college Admission Application Form of Rs 1900/-¥ for applications to all the associated MBA Colleges / Graduate Business Schools.

All AICTE approved written test scores to be taken into consideration for evaluation purposes (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT or ATMA) or GMAT / GRE.

A Combined Personality Assessment Round - Combined Personality Assessment Round comprising of  Group Discussions and Personal Interview will be conducted at 65 locations in India and select cities in neighbouring countries.

One Stage Final Selection and Admission Process - The Personality  Assessment Round will be followed by a Final Selection and Admission Process to the various programs of the associated MBA colleges. This Admission Process, conducted online, will be closed in 15 days after the offer being made by the MBA college.

Ans. : You do not need to apply separately to any MBA college which are associated with M-JPAT. Once you have registered for M-JPAT, you become eligible for the admission process to all the associated colleges.

Q 4. Do I need to fill separate forms for each of the MBA colleges that I wish
to apply for?
Ans. : No, you do not need to fill separate forms for associated colleges. One form and a single admission process will make you eligible for the admission process of all the associated MBA colleges.

Q 6. How do I get admitted to the MBA Colleges associated with M-JPAT?
Ans. : After the students have appeared for the Personality Assessment Round and submitted a valid written score (CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA or GMAT / GRE) , the following steps of Final Selection and Admission Round follow :

Step 1: MBA Colleges will select students according to their own criteria and issue call letters to all the selected students. The complete list of all the selections will be made available to students in the Student  Zone.

Step2: Students will mark their order of preferences for all the colleges that have issued call letters to them.

Step3: Students will be allotted colleges based on their M-JPAT RANK, calls received from various MBA colleges,  student preference for the colleges and availability of seats.

Step 4: Once a student has been allotted a particular program at a college, he/she needs to submit the first instalment of the course fees (For Indian students, the first instalment of the college course fee will be Rs 65,000/-( Rupees Sixty Five Thousand only) and For International students the first instalment of the college course fee will be Rs 1,25,000/-(Rupees One Hundred Twenty Five Thousand only).) no later than  the said date  to confirm the admission.

Step 5: All those students who have confirmed their admission through  M-JPAT may opt to withdraw on or before the said date.  The student will be refunded the initial payment  within a 30-day period after deducting Rs 1000/- as processing fee.

Step 6: Based on aforesaid preferences, a second round of allocation of seats in MBA Colleges  will take place and students will be issued call letters.  After the repetition of aforesaid steps, the final list of admitted students will be generated.
